Like yoga, climbing has become a fast-growing practice that has caught the world by storm. For us, it’s a lifestyle. And the two go hand in hand. In this particular scenario, yoga might teach you how to breathe and become more mindful (aware) of your body, balance and how to move. It also keeps you flexible. Climbing, however, gives you strength, precision, courage and stamina. It’s also a quick way to build up your core muscles, strengthen the shoulders and the back. As a newbie, you will learn those key skills above to help you start your climbing career. As a yogi, we believe a climbing experience will challenge you in a different way, and helps build perspective – especially if you are afraid of falling in certain poses.
A bit more about us:
Nicolas is an NKF-certified Indoor Climbing Instructor and has been climbing for more than 10 years. He taught Krissa how to climb. Krissa is a 200hr and 500hr certified yoga instructor who can testify to the many benefits climbing can give to a yogi in training.
